Sinus lift, also known as sinus lift, is a surgical procedure to increase the volume of the bone at the back of the upper jaw. This tissue is then lifted to expose the bone and a small oval window is opened in the bone. In the next step, the sinus membrane is gently pushed up and out of the jaw. The bone graft material is packed into the space where the breast used to be. The amount of bone used will vary from case to case, but usually several millimetres of bone is added.
