ARCO rights are a set of rights that ensure the protection of personal data, allowing you to control your personal information.
Legislation on personal data protection in Peru
In development of article 2, paragraph 6, of the Political Constitution of Peru, Law No. 29733, Personal Data Protection Law (LPDP), was approved, which defines the owner of personal data as the natural person to whom the personal data correspond. .
These are:
- Access: Toda persona tiene derecho a obtener la información que sobre sí mismo sea objeto de tratamiento en bancos de datos de administración pública o privada, la forma en que sus datos fueron recopilados, las razones que motivaron su recopilación y a solicitud de quién se realizó la recopilación, así como las transferencias realizadas o que se prevén hacer de ellos.
- Rectification(Update, Inclusion): It is the right of the owner of personal data to modify data that turns out to be partially or totally inaccurate, incomplete, erroneous or false.
- Cancellation(Deletion): The owner of the personal data may request the deletion or cancellation of his or her personal data from a personal data bank when they are no longer necessary.
- Opposition: Every person has the possibility of objecting, for a legitimate and well-founded reason, referring to a specific personal situation, to appearing in a data bank or to the processing of their personal data, provided that a law does not provide otherwise.

- Simple and legible copy of Identity Document
- Simple and legible copy of the Validity of Special Power. In case of representation
